The Sugar Cabin

Go to Quebec without "making" a sugar hut is obviously impossible.

The Quebec sugar hut is the top place for traditional Quebec cuisine, that of the first settlers, today that of the maple growers and friends who find themselves in a warm atmosphere, near a good fireplace fire, while outside falls snow.

It's here, in this sugar hut, that we tell each other stories, that we redo the world and that we taste the products of the terroir: bacon beans, sugar pie, scream ears, sweet pickles, greaves, oven omelette, pea soup, sausages, grandfather in syrup, cabbage salad, etc . without forgetting of course the famous maple shoot !
