Adopted by the Quebec government, the "Fleurdelysé" was raised for the first time on January 21, 1948 at 3 p.m. Don't say it's blue and white!! It is "of Azure to the silver cross confined to four flowers of lilies itself"!

According to a survey conducted in 2001 by an American association of Flag Passionates ("North American Vexillological Asso."), he was elected the most beautiful provincial/territorial flag and finished on the podium in 3rd place of the most beautiful flag of all states or provinces, Canada and the United States combined. Since then it's "Monsieur Fleurdelyse; )
