This common violet, reminiscent of the berry colour, with fruity aromas has a slightly acidic and spicy taste.
Its sachet contains hibiscus flowers, lemon grass, birch leaves, black camarin leaves (Paurngaqutik), natural flavours, juniper berries, citric acid, cinnamon bark, poppie flowers, star anise fruit, liquorice root and cloves.
The black seawater is a small creeping plant with linear leaves with juicy berries harvested by Inuit in the fall. In Inuit traditions, black water was used to reduce stomach pain.
Let infuse 3 to 5 minutes in warm water.
Store in a dry place for a longer duration.
The inuit herbal teas Delice Boreal are produced by the Avataq Cultural Institute, a non-profit organization whose responsibility is to preserve and promote the language, culture and identity of the Inuit of Nunavik (Northern Quebec).
