A Bit of History

The Nougaterie du Québec, founded by European owners Patrick Augier and Caroline Marelli, reflects their passion for confectionery and their experience of over 35 years in cooking and pastry making. Residents of Quebec since 2006, they opened their shop in 2008 and offer local products, Quebec creations, and artisanal treats.

With their expertise acquired in France, Patrick and Caroline decided to produce these sweet treats themselves, which they would offer in their shop. With the collaboration of Pierre, the master confectioner, they lovingly and passionately concoct their delicious authentic treats.

The Nougaterie du Québec does not just produce delicious artisanal nougats, but also offers sweets and accompaniments with recipes worthy of the finest. Here you will find meringues, marshmallows, honey moons, spreads and jams, island corks, butters (apple, blueberry, etc.) and nougats in all their forms.

Their mission is to brighten your day with homemade confections that awaken in you the flavors and scents of yesteryear. They value quality, consistency, authenticity, and personalization in everything they do, to offer you a unique tasting experience.

Artisanal Products

The maple nougat is the quintessence of nougat, and also the most complex to make. Some of the honey is replaced with maple syrup from the Isle of Orléans.
