The BLUECOAT Barrel Aged Gin is aged in oak barrels, for character flavors.
It is a gin small batch, produced by the American distillery Bluecoat Distillery, located on the east coast of the United States.
The production technique is the same as for the Bluecoat Amércian Dry Gin. The difference comes from its aging, it rested for 3 to 8 months from traditional oak, as for a whiskey.
The barrels are made according to the traditional methods of the 18th century, oak wood is burned with flame. The gin then takes a unique complexity and a smooth texture,
Bluecoat Barrel Finished Gin uses an 18th century aging technique in American oak barrels for 3 to 8 months that allows its gin to obtain a unique complexity and a smooth texture. The gin rounded, through the flavors of caramel, vanilla and toffee without losing the notes of juniper and pepper.
