What spirits should I choose to build a good cellar?

The choice of spirits to build the best cellar for you depend on your personal tastes and your budget. Here are a few tips and suggestions to help you build a good spirits cellar:

Whisky :

Whisky is one of the most popular drinks in the world of spirits. It's a cellar essential. To discover different flavours, we advise you to have different types of whisky: a Rye whisky, a Bourbon whisky, a maple whisky, and why not a Moon whisky.  For a good whisky cellar, we recommend choosing bottles from different regions, whisky from Canada, whisky from the USA and different brands.

Rum :

Rum is another popular spirit with a wide variety of flavours. The most common rums are white rum, spiced rum, amber rum and old rum.

Ice cider :

Ice cider is a sweet wine produced in the Quebec region of Canada. Ice cider has a rich and complex flavour.

Vodka :

Vodka is generally made from corn or potatoes and is often distilled several times. It has a mild flavour and is often used in cocktails. it is also possible to find vodkas aged in oak barrels that offer richer, more complex flavours.

Gin :

Gin is a flavoured spirit made from juniper berries and other plants and spices. There are a wide variety of gins, each with different flavours and aromas.

Acerum :

Acerum is a sweet, slightly alcoholic spirit with a caramel and vanilla flavour. It is a traditional drink that is often consumed at festive meals as a digestive.

Ice wine :

Ice wine is a very sweet and aromatic sweet wine, with aromas of candied fruit, honey and caramel. It goes well with sweet desserts, blue cheeses and foie gras-based dishes. Ice wine is a Canadian and American speciality, often produced in the wine-growing regions of Ontario and Quebec.

It's important to note that these suggestions are just a small part of what the world of spirits has to offer your cellar. You can also add liqueurs, eaux-de-vie, brandies and other spirits to your cellar to diversify it.
