A nice bottle and a splendid label that recalls the steep ribs of the Gaspésie. Distilled in small lots in Rimouski, the Gin Saint Laurent, produced by the eponymous distillery, offers a finely selected blend of aromatics and a pinch of seaweeds from Saint Laurent. After a steam infusion of exotic aromatics in a unique scaphandrier basket, the Saint Laurent gin takes the time to age in a laminar seaweed bath harvested by hand in the Lower St. Lawrence.
On the nose, a floral profile, grassy, a walk in the forest Boréale. Then like a breath of iodized air, marine notes are born. Fruits of citrus fruit and peppery tip bring lightness. Teleport on the Gaspé coast, only a few sips!
